In spite of what goes on

Able to laugh and how

Lest we forget and not learn from the past War

His home is fixed in that Number ...
He has seen it all
Does not give a fig for what goes on
Swishing his tail

Feeling The Weight Of The World........

Blinded by tears
Weight of all that had happened
So many fears
A whole 21 years had gone
Just in a flash
That said person affected
Just let it pass
It was really hard to come to peace
So much emotional damage done
It came up in memories over time
In the end she would let it all go
She has triumphed much more
Much more than those others will ever know
They can no longer do her harm
She is resilient brave and calm
That does not happen in just one day
Mates like she says
It all does not go away
The wounds went deep
Now she has healed
Years of time and space
Is what she needed to be out of their rat race.
