Both little girls stood like firm solid statues
They had heard a command to stay very still
To wait till it was all over
So they did just that
Wait and wait although so many dark days ahead
Tanks and lorries turned up one day
That was how they got away
From hell on earth
They both still carry a reminder
A reminder on their arms
Even now the darkness of those numbers
Still remains yet because they stayed still
Firmer than a rock right in their place
They were not being tricked any more
Life opened up for them another door.
