In his arms
Sat down on him
So he could not move
Someone had spotted the baby swan
With a treble hook
A treble hook in its beautiful long neck
It took three moves to free him
Free him from that terrible plight
Baby Swan did not put up a fight
The hook was so tight
It was not an easy job
Expert fella looked inside the beak
Wire was trapped right down inside
Poor baby Swan could have died
Luck had it that the whole wire came out
Expert fella took him back to the water
He fled back to his family
