When Roses Are Deffo Deffo Not Roses Or Anything Like It......

 Not feeling the "Valentine Stuff"?
She certainly did not pick up
Pick up the "connective" ambience
A so called rose
A so called rose
Way too over priced
Did not even look much like a real rose
No scent  petals all rough an scratchy
She put it back in it place
So called other flowers
Looked more like plastic than anything else
Had no scent
None whatsoever
To her dismay nothing felt like "Valentine´s Day"
Nothing at all
Except that she chose to feel it in her own way
In her own way was so much better
She has grown up with "real roses" in the garden
Very soft petals like velvet
With real thorns around
A deep heavenly scent
An aroma that filled the air
Don´t try to tell her that was a rose
It was anything but that
But no matter the memory of a real rose
Is still there
It still prevails.
